We welcome members, friends, family, and guests. We welcome you if you are a believer, solid in faith. We welcome you if you are questioning and curious about faith. Wherever you are, whoever you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.
This statement is more than sentiment. We firmly believe God calls us to be “A Mosaic of God’s Family”. Our heritage of hope began in 1872 as an outgrowth of the Marietta Camp Meeting. Much has changed over the years and still, we celebrate that heritage as we continue a tradition of offering, in new ways, the transforming, healing, and caring hands of Christ in this place.
Some of us are legacy members, some of us are new to the east Cobb area. Each of us experiences life in the congregation as a touch stone for our lives as we gather together for worship and fellowship, grow together through study and service, and go to our homes, work and school, neighborhood, and the world as witnesses to God’s unfailing grace. We hope you experience ECUMC as a welcoming and affirming community
We welcome you to be part of Sunday morning worship and for any of the activities we host during the week. Know that wherever you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here!
When We Worship
At ECUMC, worship is the center of our life together. It's where we learn, where we grow, and where we become the body of Christ. Our primary worship services are on Sundays. All services take place in ECUMC's Sanctuary, and people of all ages are invited and welcomed.
What to Expect
ECUMC is a community church that embraces all kinds of people. When you visit our church, you can expect a warm welcome from our greeters, and a place of belonging for people of all ages. Greeters can help to familiarize you to our facility and ushers will make sure that you're comfortable in worship. Whether you come to experience worship or as part of a small group or event, you can expect to feel the love of God in a tight-knit community.
What We Believe
ECUMC is a congregation of the United Methodist Church, a world-wide church that strives to make disciples of Christ for the transformation of the world. You can find out more on the church's beliefs in the what we believe section of umc.org.
How to Get Involved
All ages and stages can find a place to grow and belong at ECUMC. In addition to small groups for children, youth, and adults, we also offer intergenerational fellowship on Wednesday nights, ways to get involved in worship, and ministries of care and service where you can put God's love into action.
