Worship is a lifestyle characterized by an understanding of the gospel that compels us to passion, humility, joy, and ultimately love (Romans 12). It's not so much an act that we perform as it is a journey that God takes us through. Do you enjoy music, and are you either musically or technically inclined? Then we invite you to come be a part of the Music and Worship Arts ministries at ECUMC!
*“COME AS YOU ARE” CHOIR opportunity for the month of June!*
During the month of June our worship focus will be on PENTECOST. We’d love for you to consider coming a bit early for the 11am service and joining the Chancel Choir in the Choir Room at 10:25am to join us in providing musical leadership in worship, utilizing familiar songs of our faith that share the Good News! We won’t be wearing robes and we will leave the loft during the Doxology to sit with our families and friends
The ECUMC Chancel Choir is open to all adults and young adults. The Chancel Choir leads worship and music for our 11:00 AM Traditional service and provides music for special services and concerts throughout the year. Our rehearsals are Wednesday evenings, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Childcare is available. Contact Associate Director of Music and Worship Arts, Ira Pittman, for more information.
Adult ensembles, vocal and instrumental, will be used throughout the year in worship and during special services. If you are interested in participating in one of these groups, please let us know. Additionally, we are always looking for instrumentalists and piano/keyboard accompanists to help out on occasion.
