Greetings Seasonal Singers who would love the opportunity for “BONUS JOY” by singing with the East Cobb UMC choir in our 2026 Christmas Concert!
We will be performing ONE concert on Sunday, December 13 at 4:00 pm with full orchestral ensemble in the ECUMC sanctuary.
We will have our KICKOFF gathering on Sunday, September 13. A pizza lunch will be available for $5 in the church Gathering Place, followed by our first “sing-through” of the program in the sanctuary.
Then we will gather the following Wednesday, September 16 from 7:00-8:30pm to work on the music in SECTIONAL learning rehearsals (ECUMC Chancel Choir will rehearse 6:30-7:00)
Our remaining rehearsals will be subsequent WEDNESDAY evenings in the ECUMC sanctuary, beginning September 23, starting promptly at 7:30 until 8:30pm.
By Mid-October and November, we will start shifting rehearsal start times earlier and shorten regular ECUMC choir rehearsal times. We will have a final rehearsal with orchestra on Wednesday, Dec 10, 6:30-8:30pm.
Please understand the importance of attending as many rehearsals as feasible, and the expectation of “abundant” independent prep work with tracks at home between rehearsals.
PLEASE prayerfully consider joining us!
