Advent, Christmas, it’s “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!” But why? Why is it the most wonderful time? It’s the time we remember the coming of Christ. It’s the time we prepare for his birth. It’s a time we celebrate and a time we reconsider what it means to be Christians. Spend time with us this season considering the time, “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”

Pre-Christmas, ADvent WORSHIP

We have two worship experiences at East Cobb UMC. Our modern service at 9:30 a.m. provides a casual worship environment including music led by a band, prayer, and a message. Children are often invited to participate in worship, with an option to leave for children’s church before the message. Our traditional service is at 11 a.m. and is choir and organ lead. Elements like creeds and the Lord’s Prayer are regular components of this worship experience as well as Holy Communion. Children are invited to participate in worship, with an option to attend Sunday School during the hour if families so choose.
