Service of Hope

The holidays are coming, and we are not ready, nor do we want to be. Dread is the increasingly strong emotion we experience as those once special days draw closer. Perhaps it was the death of someone dear to us. Perhaps it was a loss of a job, a relationship, or a diagnosis that changed everything forever. Whatever loss you have experienced, there is hope. We prayerfully claim that hope on Nov. 14 at 6:15 PM in the Sanctuary. In a meditative service of silence, guided prayer, and the lighting of candles, we will all have space to deal with our loses in constructive ways. Caring Stephen Ministers will also be available during this time to pray with you. If you know someone who has had a loss, please come and invite them to come with you. All are welcome.
