Holy Week is the week we commemorate the final days of Jesus’ life before his death on the cross. Starting with Palm Sunday, we continue through Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and then end with a celebration of the risen Christ on Easter. This is the final week of Lent, a season of church-wide self-denial and repentance, focusing in its climax specifically on the passion and suffering of Jesus. Pastor Kristin will continue her focus on stones, specifically the stirring in them this last week. The stones will SHOUT! on Palm Sunday and the great stone will be rolled away on Easter. Join us for worship. All are welcome. Specific times and special events are listed below for your convenience.

EVENTS

Not just another egg hunt

Come join East Cobb on Palm Sunday, April 14, from 12-2 p.m. for a pizza lunch and prayer stations designed specifically for kids and their families to do together.  Each family member will make a special resurrection egg that can be taken home and used again and again to help remind us all of the WOW days leading up to Jesus’ death and resurrection.  Reservations are strongly encouraged so we can make sure we have enough pizza for lunch.  Please R.S.V.P. below.
