Emmanuel, the name of Jesus we celebrate each Advent, reminds us that, “God is with us.” Each week, we celebrate God with us through expressions of hope, peace, joy, and love. This year, we will be adding one more expression of God’s presence with us: creativity. Our God is our Creator, and to have Emmanuel, God with us, means that our Creator is both with us and within us. From original paintings on our windows to poetry written specifically for our church community to a live storytelling presentation, together we will celebrate the birth of Christ at the intersection of creativity and Emmanuel!
