At ECUMC, we seek to be part of God's transforming mission throughout the world.
We work to make a difference in love through:
Each Fall, ECUMC sends mission teams to Mountain T.O.P. (Tennessee Outreach Project) to help with home repair projects in the Appalachian mountains of Tennessee. This interdenominational, non-profit Christian partnership ministry is affiliated with the Tennessee Conference of the United Methodist Church and dedicated to rural life ministry in the Cumberland Mountains. Through our partnership with Mountain T.O.P., we seek to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of people through the love of Christ.
Part of our service includes contributing over 250 shoes to the project. Before October 24th, please consider donating new athletic shoes or work boots to the collection bin located in Sanctuary Lobby on Sunday mornings or by bringing them to the church office Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Ladies size 6 - 12; Men’s size 7-13.
Through the global connection of the United Methodist Church, ECUMC is able to extend our missional reach beyond our national borders. In the past, we have sent out short-term missionaries to Central America and Kenya. We also support missions through special offerings each year.
