In September of the year 2023, the East Cobb United Methodist Church and the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church came together in unison under the beautiful and majestic Arbor that stood tall and proud at the Marietta Campground. They were brought together by a common cause, to experience the true essence of the Gospel Sing-A-Long that had been gloriously set up and designed to uplift the spirits of all those who participated. It was a time for reflection and a time to embrace the fellowship and joy that came with praising the Lord in unison. Without a doubt, these memories of pure joy and complete spiritual awakening will forever remain resplendent and unforgettable in each and every one of their hearts.

Some of the focus topics were God being present in the storms of life, being bold in sharing your faith with others, doing what is right even when you really don’t want to, and living into the calling that God has for you. The exciting thing for East Cobb was that our students committed to doubling the amount of students we take next year on the retreat from this year!
